My trustee said it takes 45 days for everything to go through, they could accept before that or give a counter-offer.

No, they aren't allowed to, but there are still some problems in this regard, as you can see by perusing the web.

If they call refer them to your trustee. By the way, did all of the creditors accept the proposal?

Consumer proposal

I signed a consumer proposal today and to make things a little easier for me, I called the collection agency to let them know this, and gave them my trustee's name and phone number, but I now know that was a mistake as I got verbally abused over the phone. Are they allowed to contact me anymore since I am now protected by a trustee or does it need to be filed with the government first?
