Thanks Allie,
I am in the process of modifying the forums area so that people will be truly anonymous.

Although people are able to edit their First Name last Name, I'm realizing that most people are aware of that.

On most forums people can log in and post anonymously.

Thanks for your comment.

Hi Monty..In response to registering, and using my real name, no, I didn't. My reason? Cause I saw that some collectors (the 'collection agencies' Jackson so beautifully illustrates in pics and words) post here, so there is no way that I will let them see my identity.

When posting, I just modified my name - in this case, I removed the last letters of my last name, simply by clicking in the box and deleting.

Hopefully, this will allow other people who could benefit from participating in the forums here to jump in. Oh, and create a free online e-mail account using hotmail or yahoo...I had problems trying to create a g-mail acc't, as they required a CELL phone number to start up a (free) account. Weird. And traceable.

Thanks for this site!

Register and User Profile area.

Postby montyloree » Thu Mar 29, 2007 12:00:00 AM

I am going to do a little work on the Registration page and the User Profile Page.

Does anybody have any suggestions with regards to these pages.

I get a feeling that some people may not be posting because they think they have to use their real names. The names are editable to add privacy.

I think I'm going to add a separate name fields so that people can use a more anonymous name if they wish to post.

I'm curious to know people's thought's on this.
