I understand what you are saying Montyloree, and in my previous post I stated that I completely agreed with everyone understanding thier rights in this business some collectors can get out of hand. I know that this happens and I am not denying it, HOWEVER, Raymond, I am only trying to show you another side of things. A human side. I know what you are thinking.. NO WAY! HUMAN? HOW IS THAT SO? COULD IT ACTUALLY BE POSSIBLE THAT WE ARE NOT ALL? When we are only doing our job to inform some of thier situation and they immediately have thier back up because other collectors are giving them a hard time because they don't know how to manage thier credit and own 7 different credit cards theyve cmpletely maxed out. What are we to say? Oh Im so sorry for doing my job? no. If you were a police officer pulling over someone for speeding and he tells you hes been stressed and had a hard day pull me over tommorow would you do so? For those who are ACTUALLY ill, on disability or recieving welfare we fill out a little form that we send upstairs and they take those poeple out of our systems so that the calls do not continue because they do not have the means to pay. I don't try to apply pressure or stress to famillies going through a hard time as I have been through some myself but what you do not understand is the amount of people that we talk to who are simply not paying thier bill. No exscuse, they just feel like they do not owe anything. It is clear that you do not want to listen and that is fine, but at least understand that this is not just a one sided business. Some of us are actually empathetic people.. a few of us are here to save up money before we go to school.. Would a "collection agency" and pathological liar be going to school to become a social service worker? or a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor?
When your famillies are in need of our services then eat your words.
Please compare me to Paul Bernardo again as it is so ovbious we have similar traits.
