Well, expired or ones that are outstanding, i have cleared about 15-17000, off my credit report but mind you i was calling transunion and equifax like 3x a day checking my report and watching the activity. Any collection agency who is trying to collect has no CONTRACT WITH YOU IN YOUR NAME PERIOD. So with that said the simple letter requesting proof of debt to their company with a contract in its original form to be sent notarized certified true copy. If they can send one of those babies settle up, your thinking but i do not have the money to settle up, tell them you do, its poker, so have your best face on, because seeing they do not have a contract signed showing you OWE tHeM, THEY HAVE NO CASE.....they can now be sued for racketeering, collusion and malversation as well do not forget defamation of character by reporting a unverified claim. So make sure you keep track of letters sent and give them 20days to reply or they full agree there is no debt.

anyone in need of help email cameronup at gmail dot com, i wrote it out like this in case this forum doesnt allow for emails, cameronups@gmail.com

Thank you for posting the do's and don'ts in choosing a debt collectors agencies. Being cautious is really a must since I read from here, Debt collector complaints surge along with FTC lawsuits that debt collectors continues to increase of lawsuits. Few occupations are as maligned as debt collectors these days. Granted, given the behavior of some in the profession, that damage is self-inflicted. Grievances against the market filed with the Federal Trade Commission are at an all-time-high. Suits from the FTC are also increasing.

Do‘s

Companies having friendly representatives and that can lower monthly payments.
Debt Consolidation Company that is happy to answer any kind of question

Choose a company that can reduce balances by providing the payment options that meets the needs
See for the honest of the company about the time we have to spend

See for the regulation of the Government for these kind of business

Do research on them before approaching them

Dont's

Be aware of those Companies that promise quick solution to debts (there is no quick way of clearing debts)
Don’t go for Debt Consolidation Company with large initial fees

Debt consolidation worked for one will not work for others debts will vary from one to other depending on their requirements
