I agree. I had a hell of a time removing my deceased grandfathers file from my report. They continued to tell me over and over and over that it was up to me to remove this info by contacting the creditors. Months later I finally got help from someone at Transunion.

When you’re dealing with Tran’s union; in my opinion you’re dealing with a bunch of idiots.

I have been discharged from bankruptcy Dec 2009 and ever since have been trying to clear errors on my credit report. I have sent in my discharge papers and statement of affairs and my credit report with Transunion still shows like this:Cibc credit cards high credit 9000,past due $0 ,balance 9777 then in account type its installment and current payment i9 bad debt placed for collection. In the comments section it states the account was included in bankruptcy.bad debt write-off. Is this how it should be reporting? I was told by Transunion its correct. Where can I find an updated sample of an accurate credit report from Transunion after discharge from bankruptcy. Who can I send a copy of my file to in order to make sure this is reporting properly? I would like to compare with other reports. I will block my private info and post a copy of my trade lines.
