I wouldn't fill out those forms, it sounds like a trap.

Did a check with Equilfax and there it was, what my husband owes with his cards, also states they were sold..so I quess he has to start paying to get his credit back. They did not like what he could afford and wanted more money a month, but he said no. Still never received any paper work from CRS.

Look, all collection agents are pathological liars. So unless you have a signed agreement in your hand BEFORE you pay them a penny, then 100% for sure, you will get shafted. At this point, I would give them nothing until they send you such an agreement. And don't give them what they ask for. Hang up a few times first.

This is the state collection agencies have been allowed to drift into thanks to the Debt Regulation Unit of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs headed by Brian Pitkin. And it will not change until someone does something about those who run that unit. When you've got ex-collection enforcers managing collection agencies, what else do you expect? Honestly!

No point in complaining here, we can't do anything. You need to complain to Dalton McGuinty If you don't believe me call up Brian Pitkin's personal number at 416 326-8802 and see what results you get.

A lot of people criticize Mark Silverthorn, but instead should be supporting his efforts.

Well to further more of my issues in my last post, I agreed a couple months ago to a monthy payment, so the other night I made my first payment, then contacted the legal department, as adivsed, and this Kristina say the amount of the payment was ridiculous, and I said thats all I can afford right now, then she proceeded to say they were going to put a lean on the house.

At first they reduce the amount then when I asked how much it was, it back to the original, she said it was only a one time offer,, 24 hr thing, I wasn't told that. One doesn't know what the other says or does there, its on how you treat them and their moods. Not sure what to do now!

The author isn't even functionally literate, and bears a writing style curiously similar to the daily blog posts found on the left hand side of the home page.
