with interest rates at 1.5% it's really difficult to have passive income, unless you have ALOT of principal... these days the stock market seems volatile...

i'm starting to study retirement planning.... I hate to say it, but it's not something I've spent alot of time on...

I save money like crazy, but now I need to get it working for me... and you're right ConnieSol...it's all about worry free passive income..

Retirement is all about passive income. My suggestion is to start putting energy and resources into income sources that do not require active participation. A financial planner can be of more assistance with specific help, but just keep that as your focus and let it guide your decisions.

Don't touch your retirement savings
If you withdraw your retirement savings now, you’ll lose principal and interest and you may lose tax benefits or have to pay withdrawal penalties. If you change jobs, leave your savings invested in your current retirement plan, or roll them over to an IRA or your new employer’s plan.

need some tips for retirement

Postby andypollard » Thu May 27, 2010 03:28:48 AM

My name is Andy, 57 years old and together with my wife, Laura, 54, seems to play a catch up when it comes to my retirement savings. Can you help me with some money-saving tips that can give a satisfying flow of income come my retirement period?
