Hi, just a quick question, if anyone is knowledgeable about this..
I forgot to return a modem to my ISP (or pay $60), and they've just set a collection agency on me. However, the ISP and collection agency have absolutely no information on me, other than my name.
They have managed to get in contact with some family, presumably by picking phone numbers out of the phone book, but they refuse to tell them how much I owe or how to pay it. They'll only deal with me, specifically.
Now, because they have no information on me, I don't intend on giving them any information on me, or dealing with them directly if possible. I have no problem paying it immediately, but I'm guessing they can't do anything to my credit score with so little information.
Is there any way to make them deal with me indirectly?
