oh and it shows private name/number... good I know not to answer any private calls now.

What I hate about all the collection agencies is that even though you explain to them that the person they are looking for doesn't have the number anymore and I am not the person they are trying to contact, they never take you off their automated calling list. Talk about BS.

I should threaten them with a lawsuit scare, especially since I am noy even the person they are targeting.... god d*mn as*holes.

Ya i'm pissed ;)

What a great board this is! you know it works well for people when characters like Mr Lemon register in order to spew their venom.

The fact that people can find out their rights here is obviously so frustrating to the c/a neanderthals.

gotta love it.

okay, are you serious? You got an NSF on a payment that was less than $3???

Okay, so TD's process for cancellation was annoying... and it took a few months to sort it out... but and somehow you racked this up to $365???

You must be completely retarded. You must be leaving out details to make yourself look good, but you aren't fooling anyone -- you are the shame of the human race.

Send TCR a letter (via fax AND Registered mail) stating you believe the frequency and nature of their calls is harassment, and they can file a Small Claims Court action against you if they wish to (they never will for this amount).

If the calls do not stop, after you have verified the letter was received, contact the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services and file a formal complaint against them.

Guaranteed the calls will stop after that.

TCR is driving me crazy

Postby kittymeow » Wed Apr 21, 2010 05:09:33 PM

Hello,
TCR Ontario is driving me crazy. This for me is about the principal of it and Im standing my ground.. I was with TD for years. I had an automatic withdrawl of $2.85 a month for my daughter to be in the childfind database when she was small. When she grew up I didnt want the service and tried to cancel the subscription. I called and they said I had to send it in writing . I did that . Now. After the first month I had an NFS fee of I think at the time $16.00 .
I went to the bank manager and she told me I would be smart to just stop payment . I did that. PAYING a fee of $8.00. I thought that would be the end of it. Same thing next month $8.00. This was rediculous as the original withdrawl was $2.85. I either pay $16.00 with NSF or $8.00 to stop payment? NO,
Considerting it was TD that had the final say and speaking to the bank manager again she left me no choice but to close my account. BUT, I was overdrawn now with another NSF and she said I couldnt close it owing money. This wasnt fair and I washed my hands of TD.

After many months of NSF going through my account and now overdrawn $365.00 TD closed my account and sent it to TCR .
TCR calls me everyday 7am, 2pm, 8pm including Saturdays. YES. Saturdays all times of the day and night . I must be the office topic. This is Everyday for the past 2 years.

What can I do?

I am very frustrated
