Here is an article about earning points out of your usage of a JetBlue American Express card. it allow the credit card holders to earn nine points for every dollar spent.

JetBlue TrueBlue has a new online shopping mall, ShopTrue, where members can earn up to nine points per $1 spent for shopping with over 800 participating retailers.

To access the ShopTrue mall, log on to your TrueBlue account and click the ShopTrue link located on the TrueBlue summary page. Points will be credited within 45 days and the number of points you can earn will vary by retailer. Some charges, such as gift card purchases and shipping, are not eligible to earn points.

hi bcharinski,

you are one of the persons i found out using a Wal-Mart card. i was able to read your post and you have mentioned that the card you had at that time was not worth it to use and earn points due to its high interest rate.

i just want to ask you if you are still using the same card or you have switch to a different credit card already? if you do have a new card, what type of card is it?

hi..

what will be the solution for this kind of problem? would it be enough if i will go to the card company office or contact their customer service hotline and show them the receipts as evidence that i have used the card in purchasing something but haven't received any rewards points?

Just to know the process with this kind of problem.

so... what you're saying is you purchased some items with your points credit card, and you didn't receive any points?

did you check the statement?

that would be odd indeed... perhaps a software malfunction?

I’m a bit surprised because I got this points credit card which states that every time you make a purchase, you’ll be getting one or two percent back. The only reason I got it was because of this fact, and now since I’ve already made a few purchases when I got the card, I expected that I’ll have some sort of return difference or statement in my billing regarding this.

But I’m still not seeing any difference as of the moment, I also called the bank to check if there’s a mistake in my statement but the clerk on the other end said there was none. As of the moment, I’m thinking that there’s some mistake on the banks part, and I’m hoping that the bank will be able to correct this soon enough.

Maybe I am indeed oblivious about the facts but I still do believe that I should be receiving some sort or notification regarding this right? Or am I mistaken and I should be personally checking the bank about this?

I’d really like to clear this problem soon enough because I really wouldn’t want to get stuck in a deal where I’d be losing much more in the end. I mean, I’d be able to understand if i have to do the checking myself about the points that is supposed to get credited to me. The point is, I’d still want to know about it.

In essence, here’s the main point, do banks provide this information in the statement or don’t they? If not, what are the methods that I can use to verify this?

I was under the impression I got my Wal-Mart that I would collect some points to buy more clothes for work. When I applied for it it seemed like a good points credit card. But when I started to get the statements and see a much interest they were charging me immediately I saw that it was worth it to collect points this way.

how does Wal-Mart or any other credit card issuer think of this as good value? yes they're going to give you some points back, but if you don't pay your statement every month you're stuck with 19.975% interest or whatever it is which amounts to hundreds of dollars every year?

For the amount of reward points that this credit card gives it doesn't seem like it's worth.
