hi..

i do have a cash back card but doesn't offer airmiles points. it there a way where i can add that reward program in my current card or i need to get another card that covers everything?

if ever i need to get a new credit card, what card will you advice me or if you don't mind me asking what's your card? cause maybe i can get the same but i need to check on it first.

i love the feeling of getting free items and merchandise by just using gift certificate. what more if i get free tickets. i make me feel the worth of my credit card.

i'll wait for your reply. thanks..

I know what you mean about the Air Miles card. I still have my Air Miles card but I don't use it like I used to. for one of my reward gifts I got a Starbucks $10 gift certificate. That cost me 50 points. That 50 points extra cost me about $1000 worth of purchases. And what I really got out of that was to chai teas loaded with steamed milk & honey. It was a nice treat however I don't value that type are reward anymore. The two chai teas cost $10. That's pretty expensive high-margin tea.

These days I'm just more into cash back.

I used to have a Air Miles card. I collect a lot of Air Miles points and purchase some airline tickets, and some of the goodies they have on their site. I didn't like the idea that Air Miles doesn't pay for airport taxes and fees. the tickets would cost $750 for example and I would have to pay out $200 out of pocket.

It's a good start if you're collecting points but if you're serious collector it's not really the best rewards program out there. I've heard other people complain as well. Even with AeroPlan you can collect more points. Again I use the capital one aspire world card and I'm getting two points for every dollar I spend which is pretty sweet. I got the higher end card as I spend $10,000 a month with my business. So this gives me more points than with the aspire Gold card
I love the sweetness of travelling.. I like to travel, I like being home after travelling

I'm not really sure what you mean by linking reward programs. Can you explain this further or give us a link to a page that explains more?

I honestly wouldn't understand what to do with my air miles are my credit cards to link them up. If you explain this further that would probably be more helpful to our readers

You can earn airmiles faster by Linking Reward Programs. There are many car and hotel rewards program that will let you link your account to an airline reward program. this means you sometimes have to choose between reward programs but many programs often allow you to double dip and earn reward miles for more than one program.
