Monty Loree: Okay wow. I don’t have anything to transfer right now, but can you put on my account about that?

MBNA Rewards Card: Well, whenever you call in sir it’s whatever actually available in the account that we can give you at that point. So you can always call in and see what we can give you.

Monty Loree: But the thing that really interest me if I do a balance transfer, how much do you charge me? What’s the percentage that you charge me as a fee?

MBNA Rewards Card: It all depends on the rate that you transfer at. It really depends on a one time deal of 1%. You can always negotiate with the representative over the phone as well.

Monty Loree: Okay. So let’s say $10,000.00 bucks that I transfer - so the $100.00 is the fee. I won’t take you up on that today but that’s a good deal.

MBNA Rewards Card: No, you just keep that in mind sir when you’re ready just give us a call back we’re open 24/7 as well.

Monty Loree: Alright thank you so much.

MBNA Rewards Card: Have a good day sir.

Monty Loree: Okay bye-bye.

Monty Loree: Okay. So I’ll give them a call. Again that’s 1-888-516-3239. I appreciate your help today.

MBNA Rewards Card: One last thing Mr. Loree regarding your accounts here, just a question like that sir. Your account - I don’t have to use it for transfers or not, but we do offer you 1.99. That’s pretty good until October. With that interest you at all for during transfers?

Monty Loree: Sorry, 1.99% for balance transfers?

MBNA Rewards Card: Yes, sir.

Monty Loree: Yes that’ a good rate.

MBNA Rewards Card: It’s a pretty good rate, sir. If you have anything higher, anything that’s in a higher rate or not we can basically give you 1.99% until January of 2011 actually.

Monty Loree: Well I think I will then.

MBNA Rewards Card: You can do that as well. Mr. Loree, any other question regarding to your account today?

Monty Loree: I just want to know about the travel. I was curious about the insurance and I just want to make sure because I thought I heard that, the insurance was just covered like the collision part of it but not the liability?

MBNA Rewards Card: No, it covers the whole thing. If you wanna get more information Mr. Loree, again pertaining to that you can contact Master Assist as well.

Monty Loree: Master assist?

MBNA Rewards Card: Yes, that number sir is 1-888-516-3239 and this is the company that takes care of all the benefits that I’ve just mentioned to you.

Monty Loree: Okay, and do they have a phone number there?

MBNA Rewards Card: They do sir, and that phone number for is 1-877-877-3703.

Monty Loree: So that’s 877-877-3703?

MBNA Rewards Card: Correct.

Monty Loree: And that’s for mytravelrewardscentre.com? Alright and how many points do I have on a card? Will it show on that website?

MBNA Rewards Card: Look, it will show up on the website. But for your own information, it’s 16,702 points.

Monty Loree: I probably need some like 25,000 to travel

MBNA Rewards Card: But you do have enough right now to travel between provinces. So you live in Saskatchewan, so you can basically go to adjoining province or state with 15,000 points.

Monty Loree: Okay, how do I apply for that?

MBNA Rewards Card: That’s free with the card so you don’t’ have to do nothing except buy the full purchase of that item on the credit card.

Monty Loree: Okay. What’s the other one then, what’s the other benefit?

MBNA Rewards Card: Purchase insurance, that’s up to 90 days of that purchase that you buy, if ever it gets stolen, if ever it gets damage we will reimburse you the full amount.

Monty Loree: Okay, so then just getting back to my original thing here - if I’m travelling, what’s the web site that I go to talk about arranged trip?

MBNA Rewards Card: You will go to www.mytravelrewardcentre.com. Just give me a quick second here sir and I’ll give you the exact website here, centre.com

Monty Loree: So it’s mytravelrewardscentres.com okay,

MBNA Rewards Card: Not centres - no s at the end .com. When you’re within the website you need to have your card with you, to register in the account online as well.

Monty Loree: Okay, so why is that?

MBNA Rewards Card: Because sir, you have to actually buy their collision waiver.

Monty Loree: Okay.

MBNA Rewards Card: This is mandatory within those countries.

Monty Loree: Okay. I’m just trying to write these down - you got the rental coverage. What are the other benefits?

MBNA Rewards Card: Double up the manufacturer’s warranty up to one year extra. Example sir, you buy an old washer with a card, covers up to one year manufacturer’s warranty - we double up the manufacturer warranty for you automatically.

Monty Loree: Okay. Just the car rental insurance, can you talk about that again?

MBNA Rewards Card: You have sir the insurance paid for if you ever rent a vehicle for up to 29 days of that rented vehicle. That has to be an automobile and not a truck. That is actually covered up to $65,000 worth of your rental vehicle. You have to put the full cost of your rental vehicle on your credit card to be eligible to be protected as well. You’re completely covered both ways.

Monty Loree: Let’s say I go to Mexico and I rent a car at Alamos. So then I get in an accident. Is that 100% covered?

MBNA Rewards Card: Yes.

Monty Loree: Okay. It’s not just collision; it’s also collision and liability?

MBNA Rewards Card: The only places it’s not actually insured is in Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.

MBNA Rewards Card: Yes.
