Despite the world crisis, we can still purchase our own home with a flexible rate and low interest rate. There is still hope for a bright future.

Hey Joe, no, that's not them. They are all subsidiaries of PCR who are up in Markham.

You know, if they don't send me the info, I'm not going to worry about it. I've already contacted the bureaus.

CCL/Metropolitan something something/PCR

I checked to see if it was a citi financial since PCR deals with citi financial, but that's not on my credit report.

Thanks to you both. I'm trying to go back to see who was in my house and had access (possibly) to my credit information, as I *know* no furniture was acquired by me at any point. Still, the C/A has not provided me with any information as of yet and I still don't know who this original creditor was. I don't know if it's an Alberta company doing business in Ontario or what. I can't even get anywhere with the company listed.

+1
From experience...the creditor default clock would start from the time you missed the first payment and that first missed payment would be the DLA.

When the time is up on the no payments and the following month you have to start paying and you don’t, that month you defaulted on would be the date of last activity.

Do not pay for 1 full year Furniture Loans?

Postby Marquisse » Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:23:49 AM

I'm still trying to find out where this supposed debt came from and as I stated before, I made no purchase in Jan of '09, the date in which "last activity" was reported on this account. Now, since the place they are claiming is some furniture place in another province, the idea struck me that maybe this was one of those "do not pay for 1 full year" things. The thing is, I never purchased anything in '08 or '07, either!

So, my question is, if you do have one of those "do not pay for X years/months" agreements, when would the last report date on your bureau be? This may help me figure out what's going on here.
