If anyone is applying for credit these days should know, that you might need a 650 to700 or higher fico score to be approved. The only creditors that might lend you money below 650 is wells fargo, citifiancial or vfc.If your looking to get the low interest rate, you will need 700 fico score or higher.

The only problem you failed to realize is that you're only talking from a mortgage perspective..and there are alot more other products out there.. including the credit cards, auto loans, retail... and yes many people do knwo how their risk is, but there are many that don't .. like I've said before, I get people applying for a loan with a 550 Beaocn Score and then freak out when they get declined.. maybe your criteria is much more mellower than other, but it all depends on the creditor, and I state that every where on my website... You got to remember first of all, some people may know their score, but I use my experience to tell people where that score would get them, some might know that a 660 is a medium score but together with other info, am I risky, am I getting a good rate, am I hurting my over all file.. You have to put yourself out of the fact that you already know how to read a credit bureau file.. remember this is for people that "DON'T KNOW" how to.. ..most of the major credit card companies in Canada dismiss anyone with a BK on file..but like you've said, you as a mortgage broker approve them..and as for you rate statement, thaty is incorrect.. most companies uses risk based pricing.. that all derived based on yourt credit file...

and the Privacy Policy does state how your info will be used .. it's you right to be scheptic about it... but you can't say it's not stated anywhere.. same would go for any service or company online..

Thanks much for the advice ShopMyMortgage, it's supposed to be a simple site, the problem I find is, that this type of service is not easy to get across.. Not because the way I have stated, but becasue the subject is not an easy and comprehensible subject..especially for the people I'm targeting.. which in this case is, people who cannot read their credit files and have no idea if it's risky or not.. You know what I mean? i tried changing it over and over again to try and make it easy for people to get it... There's nothing I can wirte on the main page that would not raise any questions... A good example is Facebook, when it first came out, and I was invited to join, I went to the site and left more confused than ever, like what is it, and why do I need it.. now it's a household name and makes more sense than anything... not to say it's worth billions ;) .. but you're totally right, about not raising any questions from the customer and about the contact info...

The jist of the service is basically an input form where the customer gets their own bureau file and inputs the required fields.. in return they get a risk analysis based on those inputs that runs through a scorecard type of calcualtions in the back... give it a try (it's free..for now) http://www.risksolutions.ca/ProfileForm2.php

Thanks average_joe.... the phone line is getting finalized, I'm just playing wiht few options right now.. email is one way, but I also have contacted few associations and independent companies..among others...as far as the Equifax thing goes, yes you're right I need to put their link in, and I don't need their permission for adding their link in, I would if it was a refferal link (like TU's is), so I'm just gonna add a smaller Equifax link on the main page and that should be good enough. My main thing ritght now is to get out there..and it ain't easy :)
