If you have the release letter then you should not have a problem. I would fax the release letter to the collection agency that is now calling you. I only had one collection agency call me about a debt that was paid and once I faxed them the release letter, I never heard back from them again. I would also send Rogers a copy of your release letter for their file.

Problems With ROGERS and Collector Agency

Postby jmvieira20027 » Sun Oct 04, 2009 08:17:58 AM

I'm having problems with the collection agency called ALLIED INTERNATIONAL after having paid my debt to them on behalf of ROGERS I have recieved calls from two other collection agencies. I recieved a letter from ALLIED INTERNATIONAL confirming and releasing me from outstanding debt. After getting calls from the other collectors I called ROGERS and learned that they have no acknowledgement of ALLIED INTERNATIONAL recieving payment or involvement is this process. Upon calling customer service at ROGERS they told me their was a zero balance. I later purchased an iphone, they ran a credit check at the store and everything was fine, how was this possible if they are claiming the debt is unpaid now? I'm so lost on where to begin to solve my situation when all parties involved are giving me different answers. Please, can anyone help me?
