Thats misleading people, Google probably has a IP lawyer on it dealing with passing off and trademark infringment.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck with that.

Google Treasure chest was supposed to be search techniques to help you generate more traffic, and thus more money from google traffic.

This company isn't related to google at all...

Their claim was that they were making $200+ per hour with google...

BTW... I did the due diligence searches before signing up... there weren't any complaints at all about google treasure chest.... It seemed that when I got my credit card statement, and searched again, there were tons of complaints.

What does google treasure chest do? Or was intended to do?

I searched it and came up with nothing but complaints crying "scam". It seems that this scam rides off Google's good name.

My experience with Google has been really good over the years, fantastic company, great & knowledgeable customer service and value in their services. Larry and Sergey aren't doing well in life because of osmosis; their business model is well oiled...

OMG... montyloree got scammed!! google treasure chest

So... back in June, I signed up for google treasure chest, and grantspring.com

I was just checking out different things, and wanted to see what they had to offer... as a website master, I am always on the lookout for new and improved ways to make money on the internet. (The site looks like it's down)

I signed up for google treasure chest, which indicated that you could sample their site for $1.99, for 30 days.

On both of these sites, I cancelled the same day. The mistake I made was giving them my credit card number.

Yikes...
They keep charging my account, and as it has happened, they're charging my account under different names. the first charge was under money-guide-online.com, and then web-cash-info.com. They then charged me under Google Chest, and then Search Chest...

It appears that they're getting different merchant accounts under different names ....

In the mean time, I've done all of the charge backs on my credit card, and spent an hour or so with my credit card companies customer service.
I had to send in the emails that I used to cancel the account.

I'm not saying that this happens all the time on the internet... However with google treasure chest, it did.. they're very painful to get rid of... and they're probably preying on individuals who are losing their jobs in this nasty economy.

Google treasure chest is bad, bad bad!!

I'm not embarrassed to say that I got scammed... I thought it would be good for people to know on the blog!

I also signed up for grantspring.com which
