If they infact bought this debt...it does not matter what they paid for it. If they did go to court and you missed it, it would have been presented at the actual debt value that the original creditor had it at.
The Judge would have reviewed it and assessed the appropriate interest.

All big if's as we still do not know for sure what you were served at door.

Hello again. I have one more question for you. Is there a maximum amount of interest CRS can charge me over a certain period of time? Just seems to be a alot of interest tacked on here if they bought this debt a .5 on the dollar.
Thank you

With out having seen the document you were served at your door, it sounds like a Notice of Examination. This is a procedure that takes place after a judgement has been awarded and gives the creditor and judge an opportunity to examine your fianances to determine how to best satisfy the judgement, be it by garnishee, seizure of property etc.
But again...this would only take place if the creditor already had a judgement in hand.

I may be mistaken but they wouldn't need all this prior to a trial that hasn't happened yet ....they haven't won no need to give up personal info.

I thank you for the general info. I did not receive any court trial, this date was just given to me by that girl just before Christmas, there has been no other date set.
Do I have to legally give CRS all the info they require or can I just bring it to the judge on the court date like it states on the documents.

It is not advise simply general info. From what you have now said it sounds like you missed the court trial and a default judgement was issued. This apperance is to determine how you will pay the judgement.
Have you got a copy of your credit reprt....it will show if a judgement was awarded.
They don't ask for all this personal info prior to a trial.
