Actually I don't think it's any special software, it's just a benefit of having a 1-800 number. 1-800 numbers (all toll free numbers actually) automatically show the callers number even if they tried to screen the number prior to placing the call (*67 and so forth), this is called ANI (automatic number identification).

The cheapest way of getting around this is to use calling cards as they provide what amounts to a "cut-out" showing only the calling card companies number on the other end.

Here is a better insurance to avoid calls and prevent skip tracing. Its ten dollars a month pay as u go phone give them that number. They have a contact number which they are allowed and make it hard to justify calling anyone else if questioned by authories. lol know this as debtor and collector run into it all the time.

Here is other method they have; if you’re going to call contact resources services from your home telephone and your telephone is a private number, their system will up block your telephone number. If you do not want them to know where you are, call them from a payphone. I had a bill collector admit to me and I wish I recorded the call; state to me they have software that un blocks people telephone numbers. The method they are using is illegal and they should be charged for these practices. I believe the telephone company should get involved for the simple fact you’re paying them every month to have the private number and unlisted features.
