I did have assets at the time, but it was to costly and time consuming for them to come after me. I do want to get credit in the near future, but I let on that I didn't care. The key to getting low settlements is to never volunteer information that they don't know. I had rude collectors call me all the time and instead of arguing with them; I would call the creditor directly and faxed them my settlement offer. The creditors are much easier and understanding to deal with when it comes to peoples’ financial hardships.

Vampchick stated correctly, and I have never had to personally deal with the bitch or her cohorts. However, she has left a wake of scared & pissed off people.....ergo 57 fricken threads!!!

Average Joe.....you may of had good luck dealing with them, but you seem to be a little bit more knowledgable than the "average joe" that visits this site. IIRC you had zero assets to your name, and you knew you were dealing from a position of strength. You could afford to wait until the collection agency or original creditor was willing to settle, because you were not seeking credit in the next 6 years. That isn't the case with, again, the "average joe".

heffer0228,

Who is the creditor that you owe that has placed your debt with Natale Law Offices? The majority of my debts that were in collections, end up being settled directly with the creditor. The myth is; creditors will not want to talk to you after they place your debt in collections, which is not true. I found when I told creditors that collection agencies were treating me unfair and were using their name in a bad way, they were more then happy to help me out.

Ummmm....while I can't speak for drunkbeerguy, since he never actually stated that Natale actually held a debt of his, only suggested that the original poster read the threads about that group here, I should point out to you that *I* am the one who clearly stated that I dealt with them.

And I am NOT drunkbeerguy. Mayhap you should pay better attention to who is posting what?

The creditor was Bell and I actually did not owe the money, Bell had screwed up (it was also a straw that broke the camel's back, I canceled my Bell Services after dealing with this 'law firm', paid my current outstanding and switched providers.)

And average joe is the only human being on the planet who apparently had a pleasant experince with those bastards. Because absolutely everything else I have read everywhere on the web regarding these 'people'. their 'law firm' and other people who have dealt with them, on top of my own experience with them, they are rude little so and sos who love to hand out phoney documents by the box full.

Do as drunkbeerguy has suggested and read the various threads here about this little bunch.

The law office of Natale Law Office is legit. I had a debt with them and I was very successful in settling my debt to my satisfaction.
