And no, frugal does not mean "cheap". There are "cheap dates" but that discussion is on another site (thank goodness.. lol)

Anyway, frugal Valentine's Day ideas - hoping others will join in and share some.

Here are some that I've tried over the years: (only the family-rated ones.. lol)

- heart-shaped pancakes, to start the morning

- filled work vehicle with inflated balloons, each one containing a "love note". Taped a darning needle onto steering wheel, for popping.. lol.. LOCK the vehicle.

- homemade gift certificates, for services. .. use your imagination - I did :)

- write love note on mirror, with soap
