I received automatic pay, and anytime payday falls on a weekend or holiday, we are always paid the business day before. If the company is a decent size (which I would presume by the automatic deposit), the accountants should be on top of it. However, my first call would be to human resources tomorrow morning, as they should have let you know by now.

Long time browser, first time poster.

I am scheduled to receive pay every second Thursday, a direct deposit to my TD bank account. I am planning on leaving on vacation for a week and would like to know if my pay will be received on Thursday, seeing as how it is a holiday. If I do not get paid then I will search for cheaper accommodations and have more spending money when my pay arrives on Monday, versus better accommodations and less spending money if I do receive my pay on Thursday.
