I've gotten a few calls, and then a few posts regarding Trans Canada Loans and they're a legitimate company...

Some of our members have been contacted by "Trans Canada Loans" and offered a loan if the person would give them a down payment..
In one case one of our members gave this company $500 as a down payment for a $10,000 loan. I've gotten a few other similar messages...

I'm concerned that Trans Canada Loans is a scam...

I am interested to know if this company is legitimate or a scam.. I can't find them anywhere on google...

If anybody has dealt in any fashion with Trans Canada Loans please let me know...

joanne, to tell you the truth we all wished that. i'm still waiting for my deposit, wayne said he sent it on monday , well that will be next monday-tuesday that i will recieve my deposit back, ya right, watch there will be more excueses....

I too sent them a deposit and received all the same comments everyone else did....they finally told me that their bank accounts had been frozen and they are unable to give me the loan...but they will send my deposit back...i don't know how they will if their bank accounts are frozen....i wished I would have seen all this stuff before sending my deposit..

Sounds like a scam and looks like a scam. Doesn't look like a legit business. You may wish to report them to the Toronto Police Service, http://www.torontopolice.on.ca/directory/mail.php?id=212. They deal with internet fraud. Other thing worth considering is reporting to some media outlets. Sometimes they cover scams like this in news specials.
