Hey Amy, These videos are more American than Canadian, but they do paint the same type of picture for both countries. People in Canada and the U.S. do like to consume products and services on credit. The old days of paying cash for things seems to be out the window. Those old days are replaced by the instant gratification days of consumer credit.

That is scary and mind boggling. Personal debt seems smaller when you look at your own individual case. Trillions of dollars of personal debt is scary. It doesn't give me a good feeling towards the future. I get a feeling that there is going to be a crash sooner than later. Sorry to be pessimistic.
